Buttons in Notion transform how you manage tasks by automating routine actions and reducing the number of clicks needed to perform common operations. They save time and enhance your workspace's usability, making your interaction with Notion more intuitive and efficient.
This week, we’re adding 3 shortcut buttons to the Eisenhower Matrix Notion Kit that we made last week:
Create New Task Button: This button automates the creation of new tasks. Instead of manually entering each task, a single click will set up a new task for you.
De-prioritize Tasks Button: Important tasks past their due date often clutter the Urgent/Important quadrant. This button will help you automatically move these overdue tasks to the Not Urgent / Not Important quadrant.
Delegate Button: This button simplifies delegation by automatically reassigning tasks from the Important / Not Urgent quadrant to a designated team member.
By using these Shortcut Buttons in your Notion setup, you’re not just organizing tasks—you’re setting up a dynamic system that adapts to your workflow.
The use cases for Notion buttons are truly endless, especially with the new Action options Notion continues to add to them like “Send an email through Gmail” and “Send a Slack Notification”.
